Rick Carlisle was Secretary of Commerce before leaving to become a founder and managing partner of the firm. Rick has over 24 years experience in economic development, finance, and investment in North Carolina. Much of his work focused on developing rural economies, including attracting new investment and generating sources of capital for rural business growth. He helped create much of the business development support infrastructure in North Carolina and has tremendous knowledge of the business, financial and political leadership of the entire Southeast.
